Hi, my name is Tiana Wedes, and I am a Veterinary Assistant at Dermatology Clinic for Animals. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, canning and growing vegetables, reading, and crafting, along with canine behavior and sport work. I have three dogs — two Belgian Malinois mixes and a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix — who love scent work, agility, sprinting, and the ocean.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of the job is learning new things and, of course, the patients.

I chose this profession because of my passion for learning new things and my love for animals.

I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2021.
Professional Background
My professional interests include oncology, emergency surgery, hospice care, and canine behavior.
Work History
I began my career by earning my Veterinary Assistant certificate at PIMA from 2020 to 2021. I then joined Thrive Pet Care Animal Hospital in 2021, and later NVA ETHOS Animal Hospital in 2024. I have practiced Fear Free techniques since 2020.
