Lyndsie Bell
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, my name is Lyndsie Bell, and I am a veterinary assistant at Dermatology Clinic for Animals. I am passionate about providing high-quality care and helping my patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and painting, and I am a bit of a film buff. At home I have Nirvana, a sweet 6-year-old female cat with one eye.
Favorite Part of My Job
My favorite part of the job is providing life-saving care and relief from pain or discomfort for animals that cannot tell us what is wrong.
Why I Chose This Profession
My passion for companion pets, wildlife, and ecology guided my educational path from early high school through college, where I was given incredible opportunities to work with a variety of large and small animal species. While there are many paths to take, veterinary medicine offered the ability to make a difference every day for pet owners, rescues, and ranchers.
Education
I graduated from Washington State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Animal Sciences, following a pre-veterinary track with a focus on large animals.
Professional Background
Animal dermatology is my preferred area of veterinary medicine, as I enjoy supporting patients through ongoing care and treatment. I also value my experience in emergency triage, where I can help clients navigate urgent situations and make informed decisions for their pets.
Work History
I began my career in veterinary medicine as a large animal assistant at a Lewiston veterinary clinic in Lewiston, Idaho. In 2022, I spent a year at Alpine Animal Hospital in Pullman, Washington as a small animal assistant, primarily performing technician appointments and assisting with exams. In 2023, I joined the emergency department at Olympia Veterinary Specialists, which later became BluePearl Pet Hospital, where I worked as an emergency assistant performing triage, treatment, and hospitalized patient care through April 2026.
